Method
Design Thinking
To make this project a truly user friendly experience I utilized a human-centered approach to guide my process and thinking.

Empathize
User Interviews
The initial research for this concept came in the form of user interviews, personas & problem statements based on those interviews and a list of features and functions that I wanted to incorporate into the product.

Empathy
Empathy Mapping
After the interviews, I created empathy map to identify shared feelings and outliers. I then created a user journey map to focus on the common experiences of my interviewees, allowing me to pinpoint specific pain points to explore for potential solutions.

Define
The Problem
& The Proposition
My empathy research led me to creating a Problem Statement and Value Proposition that would guide me for the entirety of the project.

ideate
storyboarding Solutions
With the value proposition defined it was time to start brainstorming the ideal user experience and practical solutions.

IDEATE
DRafting a system
I didn't want to leave any idea behind so I mapped out a way to create an integrative system to support users from input to output.

PROTOTYPE
LO-FI WIREFRAMES
With a solution in mind I began by prototyping app onboarding, function screens and the smart mirror.

TEST
Usability interviews
With a basic set of wireframes it was time to start testing with users.

BRANDING
Moodboard
With initial prototype feedback and updates it was time to begin the branding and visual design process.
